Hi Guys , I am looking to build a tantillus , I have made the acrylic parts , printed the 3d parts just looking for a step by step build guide as the tantillus website has apparently gone.Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi

Yes , buts its only part of the guide , will be building one soon and will re do a build guide as we are trying to keep the project alive.

I have built one and building another one now and still remember how to build. But trying with cable z axis and not sure about the cable arrangement for the tensioning.

Thanks for posting those guide pages. Most of it looks fairly straightforward except for the extruder assembly because of all the missing pictures. I'm thinking of building one because I like the smaller size and high accuracy. This would be my first 3D printer build and a Cartesian machine seems a little simpler to calibrate.

@Tony, did you have a chance to build on of these? Was the information presented here enough?

Hi

Have got all the parts made in our workshop , will start a build shortly , I can supply a lot of the parts eg : printed parts , Frame in acrylic/ply/mdf pre cut and drilled rods , hobbed bolts etc - ultimately looking at selling kits and fully built 3d printers.
Creating a buildlog to be published on the website.

@Martin - The info is pretty good , however will create a new build doc and maybe suggest a few improvements.

If you need help let me know - we are based in Barnsley South Yorkshire if that helps.

I have recieved your email re Tantillus parts - I will put all the required parts on the website and send you an email with a copy of the Bill of the materials
Plus I will add shipping to USA as an option - My guess for shipping including insurance via ups will be about £50 - we do not charge VAT.
Usually takes 2/3 weeks to get a complete machine parts together for shipping.
