I'm using slic3rPE. You know sometimes when you're printing things for people they send you models where some of the parts are not on the build plate? I might load them in cad and modify them, but this is time consuming. Or forget and start printing it only to find I am air printing part of the model.
Instead I found by splitting the model in slic3r then selecting the part that is "floating", chose cut, leave the cut point at 0.0, when it "cuts" it the part will be repositioned at z=0.
