G-Code settings
July 12, 2016 01:41PM
Hello everyone!

I'm trying to print some lines and I'm using Slic3r to generate the G-Code. Slic3r makes automaticly this routine with aditional lines (RED) between the lines that I want to print (BLACK), how can I delete them? Which are the parameters that I should change in the settings?

Thanks in advance!!!

lineas.png: The red is most likely showing how it's going to move between the black line objects.

slicer lineas.png: In slic3r on the preview or layers tab, the red in the object is infill.

My printer prints these movements lines, is there any way to delete it?

Then your firmware is doing something wrong. It should not extrude anything if it isn't commanded to (with the E parameter).

What is the extrusion width, and what is the width of the lines in the STL?

It looks like the red lines may be infill - e.g if you are printing lines that are 1,5mm wide using an extrusion width of 0.5mm, it must print 3 lines side-by-side to make the 1.5mm width.

Make your STL lines thinner, or increase the extrusion width in Slic3r ("Print Settings">"Advanced">various extrusion widths).
