Slic3r Question

Hey,

I'm running into a problem that seems to be the Slic3r program.

I created the original CAD file for my object in Rhino5. I exported to an stl file and imported back in to my CAD program to make sure the object is a closed mesh. Everything exported and imported just fine.

I am running Slic3r 1.3.0-dev version. When I add the object into Slic3r the 3D plater tab looks exactly like the object I'm printing. The 2D, Preview and Layers tab show the same object as a single layer blob. I've attached some screen shots.

What prints is what is shown in the Preview tab.

Anyone experience this problem before?

Thanks in advance,

JenPhar

Your scale is wrong. The object is so tiny that the width of the plastic laid down is gigantic in comparison. I suspect you designed your object in inches - slicer wants mm. Scale it up!

You design units are wrong. Slic3r uses mm. I can tell just seeing the plate squeme, that the object is reaaaaallly small, may be like 1 or 2 mm!!!!
change your units or change the object scale in slic3r

What is supposed to be the size of the object?
