slicer settings (unknown nozzle size)

Hi all I am trying to get my Slic3r settings correct for a new hotend and it is proving difficult. I made my own nozzle which I drilled at 0.65mm but it probably slightly over that. Right now (see the attached photos) I have run it with a 0.8mm nozzle and 0.60 extrusion factor so clearly I don't have the correct nozzle size yet. I have tried a bunch of different nozzle sizes but don't understand how Slic3r uses it in the calculations. Does anyone have a link to that?

looking at the part it is strange as the bottom is perhaps slightly over extruded yet the top is massively under extruded. I probably don't have enough cooling on the top yet but I don't think that is causing the gaping between the shells etc.

I will also attach my ini file to see if I have missed anything major

any ideas?

thanks
