Slic3r error at save
June 09, 2015 09:42AM
Hi to everyone, as new at 3D printing and to slic3r ofc.

I insert a STL file and put my config for my printer and then I want to save it as a G-Code, everything ok (I think). Then I have to click ok 10 times to errors to save it (see photos of error)

It saved and my printer work with it normally as it shows but suddenly after a few minutes it stops and I don't know if is problem of g-code that slic3r produce or something else.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks a lot Panos.

I suspect that the errors are caused by having non-ASCII characters in the path. Change the configuration and file save destination so that there are no non-ASCII characters in any path or filename that is used by Slic3r and see whether that fixes the issue.

I try it and not solve it, I suspect the may the program is buged or not properly "installed". I can't switch to expert mode too, after it say to restart slic3r is still at basic.

There no installable slic3r, right?

I download it from here [slic3r.org] and I get version 1.1.7 as a stable one. I will try one other.

Thanks Panos

This should be fixed in the experimental build.
