Slicing Spike & Gap Perimeter Artifacts
December 31, 2014 08:08PM
Seeing random spike and gap surface artifacts being generated in slic3r-mswin-x64-1-1-7-stable and slic3r-mswin-x64-1-2-4-experimental. Seam position aligned.

The gaps may be a visualization artifact from Repetier, but I have seen issues in the past and looked at Gcode where exterior perimeter start end points to not touch resulting in print voids, so these may be real.

The spikes do not seem to line up with start end points.

Running 0.2 LH and perimeter extrude width overrides 0.2 to 0.32mm. Actually seeing some good prints and detail with 0.4 nozzle.

Advanced feature enhancement request - allow %flow rate adjustment along side extrusion width overrides in Advanced menu. Running 0.25 extrusion width seems to want ~12% more flow than 0.67mm infill.

stl checks out clean according to Repetier. Tried varying tesselation and orginal CAD geometry with no success. Files attached.
