Hello guys

Do anyones know that can Slic3r generate G-Code file for DLP printer. I want to build a DLP printer by using TI's controller set:[www.ti.com]

Can anyone give me some advices?

Thanks and regards

No, Slic3r is not suitable if I understand how that design works. IIUC it uses the same DLP chip (which has an array of micro-mirrors) that is used in some video projectors to project an entire slice at a time (in UV light) onto the surface of the UV cured plastic. Slic3r however builds up the shape of each slice by drawing a series of vectors. You will need software that slices the STL into a series of 2-D images rather than a series of lines (which is a far more simple operation than the one Slic3r achieves).

It looks very interesting, and I see there are full mechanical build instructions. The build size is however somewhat limited at under 60mm X 90mm
