I recently upgraded from the Slic3r 0.9.9 that came with my Repetier with my Printrbot. New version 1.1.7.
It advised my to clear my "Support" panel to defaults, to enjoy new benefits. But I can't see how to do that without losing all settings on all panels. Help! How?
As is, I'm now getting heavy "walls" of support around the lower outside of my models, in some places. Sometimes that's helpful, its' an easier support to remove than
the old kind. But in some places it absolutely obscures the details of my little model vehicles. How do I suppress this behavior? I'm using the Rectilinear support style, overhang threshold 30, pattern spacing 5 mm.
Zoom in the attached photo to see these unwanted "walls" or "plates" on the front of both vehicle models.
