Help with slic3r skipping layers in output

I'm having trouble slicing the attached STL file. In the g-code output, it looks like the third (Z=0.55) and fifth (Z=0.95) layers are missing. I've checked the mesh in MeshLab for manifold-ness and everything looks OK, although the mesh does have a bit of an irregularity along the +Y axis where the revolution started/ended in the CAD software.

What should I try next? As I said, the STL looks correct to me (if I'm missing something, let me know!).

FYI..mainly for anyone who stumbles upon this thread with a similar issue.

I was able to slice the STL successfully with slice3r 1.2.1 If you have a similar issue with the 1.1 series (I was using 1.1.7) you might try a newer version.
