I am new user to this forum so please forgive me if this subject is coverd . I did try several searches but did not see anything.
I downloaded the version x86 1.1.7 stable, extracted the files and ran the GUI version slic3r.exe. Everything was fine the program ran fine.
I was setting up for my printer A makerbot type dual Extruder.CTC version 1. I was using the information at this website [
www.3duniverse.org] as a reference.
After seting up the post processor per the artical the program closed itself. An will not open now. If you look at processes the" conhost.exe" and "slic3c.exe" pop up then after about 10 seconds they close down. the GUI never opens
I'm not sure if the config file is messed up or what.
I have tried several reloads Erasing the folders off the computer and re-downloading form the slic3r website. Also tried the x86 1-2-0 with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to use this software as it offers the most versitility to setup your prints
