I'm impressed by the features of the recent updates !

Hooray for hexagonal fill ! The only thing I missed from Skeinforge.
And even faster ? I don't know how do you do, but keep up the good work grinning smiley

(nice icon ^^)

There seems to be a bug in support still, I sliced a part today, it's symmetric in X, slic3r generated support for the RHS of the model, but not the left.
The angles involved are borderline for needing support, so it might be a rounding issue +ve vs -ve.

Thanks for the great product.

Rename your old Slic3r directory or delete it, copy the Slic3r directory in the .zip where the old one used to be, and you're done. If you already had Slic3r set up with Pronterface it should just work.

Not had much time to play yet, but it looks good.

I only have one feature request, early reversal. It works really well in SF and would make the seams go away. Oh and is anyone running Slic3r with a second extruder for support? If so, how is it going?

I never have a seam line, if anything I have a small hole where the paths meet.

Is this really true? The version included in pronterface is an exe so it does not need perl or any other dependencies installed. The git version looks like source so wouldn't it need perl etc installed? I would also like to upgrade my proterface version.
