ABS slurry

I have returned to printing some ABS parts quite happily. Since the last time, I have added Kapton tape to the glass bed. - Using ABS slurry on the Kapton sticks like the proverbial, but cleaning the oversplash after the print is problematic. I could previosly use a mild abrasive action on the bare glass. But how to remove it from Kapton? I have been pouring very hot water on it and scratching it off with a fingernail. Not too technical! Should you have a good or better method, I would much appreciate some advise.

Try acetone.
