Slicer printing speed very very slow

Hi,

I generally use Simplify3D for slicing but I wanted to try the new Slicer version for Prusa MK2, so downloaded it. Sliced an object. It printed the first layer without a problem but on the second level it slowed down considerably. By considerably I mean it practically seemed to be stopped but you could see that it was printing if you watched carefully. I turned the knob to speed it up but at 999% (the maximum allowed on the LCD screen) it prints only at 1-2 mm/second. Does any one have an idea what setting is messing with the print speed?

Thanks

I had the same and changed Vmin in Marlin movement setup from 0 to 25mm/s ( my 1st layer speed )

Would be interesting to know if you can see a slow move command in your Gcode? I couldn't find any ridiculous slow moves in mine, but many G92 E0 lines to reset Extruder count.

@obewan
where is this min time/layer option in slic3r?

PS: Nevermind, I found it in the filament/cooling section. But it was set to 10mm/s in my case and the "speed" I saw was more like 10mm/min...
