3.0 or 1.75 filament

Anyone can tell what is benefitical of using 3.0 over 1.75 filament?

The only I can think of is, 3.0 stay in the hotend longer time than 1.75, becuase it is bigger volumn so with same speed priningt it only need slower extruSion. So this is better in maintaning temperature and good for high speed print. Am I correct?

3.00 or 1.75 doesn't make any difference.
Its down to how well you can setup/tune your printer.
We use 1.75 in all our printers

oh yes for got to mention.
We use E3D V6 hotends(one of the best currently available)

It can matter if you have a printer capable of very high print speeds. Also, if you plan to print flex filaments like ninja flex, the 1.75 is very flexible and can be hard to push through the extruder. It's mainly why I chose 3mm, I wanted to be able to print any filament and had some special use cases for flex.

1.75mm is easier for the extruder to push and more flexible, so is recommended for Bowden extruders. If your machine will have a non-bowden geared extruder, then 3mm may work better with flexible filaments.

With 1.75 you should get higher pressure on the melted plastic for a given extruder and also better resolution, less filament /step.
