Changed to slic3r 1.29 and bulge in prints? *resolved*

Hoping for some insight on the magic option on this one, I've attached pics of the prints and settings below.

When I print using repetier and cura engine things are fine albeit a little squashed. Switching to Slic3r 1.29 I get bulges and the infill when I watch it print is super high even though I have turned it down as low as 5%.

Hopefully as I mentioned there is a glaring setting or something that I am missing with this.

Resolved per below post, it was the Solid infill threshold area being set really high

No clue if you print ABS or PLA but the second cube is either printed too fast or with too high temps.

It's PLA and it's with the same temp and speeds as I use in Cura, the print time is the same as well.

Anyone else found this issue? I suspect something is making it massively over extrude, but can not see what/why.

Maybe you've accidentally abled presxure management. It's an experimental feature. Try turning it off and see if it improve your print. You can turn on extrusion width simulation in repetier host, you'll usually see the over extrusion clearly.

OK I found the issue in this and it was the Solid infill threshold area was set super high at 70mm, turned it down and all good.
