Marlin firmware, home on all axes ok, have set z to stop around papers width from surface. Using ABS 3mm filament, 0.4mm nozzle. extruding around 250deg using hairspray on heated glass

Steps per unit: M92 X80.00 Y80.00 Z533.33 E961.70
Maximum feedrates (mm/s): M203 X500.00 Y500.00 Z5.00 E25.00
Maximum Acceleration (mm/s2): M201 X9000 Y9000 Z100 E10000
Acceleration: S=acceleration, T=retract acceleration M204 S3000.00 T3000.00
Advanced variables: S=Min feedrate (mm/s), T=Min travel feedrate (mm/s), B=minimum segment time (ms), X=maximum XY jerk (mm/s), Z=maximum Z jerk (mm/s), E=maximum E jerk (mm/s) M205 S0.00 T0.00 B20000 X20.00 Z0.40 E5.00
Home offset (mm): M206 X0.00 Y0.00 Z0.00
PID settings: M301 P22.20 I1.08 D114.00

My nozzle is grinding into previous layers. and wavy lines especially first layer

Leadscrew driven system prusa calculator says 4000

1.8deg
1/16step
0.8 pitch m5 (is all m5 same pitch)
1:1 gear ratio (What is this)

If I set 4000 in firmware Z drives very fast and will lock up with high pitch sound when try homing, I wanted to try the repetier firmware it's not working like the marlin the config.h

4000 steps per mm, agree. (for M5 standard (M5 fine is 0.5 pitch so; 6400) measure it)

Why have you got; Steps per unit: M92 X80.00 Y80.00 Z533.33 E961.70

(No wonder you're hitting previous layers.)

The speed should be the same whatever the Steps per unit.

Have you tried just moving z and measuring it?
