Can anyone help me figure out why my extruder is skipping like this?

This is on a Prusa i3 with Marlin Firmware on a MKS Gen2 v1.1

I am brand new to printing and noticed that when I tell the printer to extrude 100mm it only moves the filament about 55mm, so something is wayyy off.

it's not filament slipping because the shaft of the motor is twitching too. To me it looks like you need to adjust your stepper driver current. It looks like it might be a bit low. I don't know anything about your electronics, but the typical stepper driver has a trimpot which you can use to adjust this.

I have the MKS Gen 2 v 1.1 with RAMPS 1.4. How can I find out what voltage the pot needs to be set at?

It is at .856 V right now, but I am not sure what to set it at

stock pololu will go up to 1.25v, turn it up until the stepper starts making noise then back it off till it is gone.
