I recently purchased a Prusa Reprap I3 kit with a Sanguinololu board and a LCD2004 lcd display. By following the instructions for programming the firmware here
http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/Sanguinololu I was able to get the printer working but I had to leave the line “//#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER” commented out. when I uncomment the line (like their instructions), upload the firmware, and then try to connect via repetier the printer is unresponsive to manual control and there is no LCD display. I had the display flicker once when playing around with settings but I don't remember what I changed but I don't think the LCD is faulty.
are there other lines that I need to change? where do I start to look to trouble shoot this?
thanks
