Nozzle touches the building material

Nozzle touches the building material

Hello,

I finished my first 3d printer. Now it works well after calibration of xyz axes and the extruder. My problem is, the upper nozzle goes, the closer the nozzle to the material. And at the end it touches the material. I used 0.4 mm nozzle so for each height, i increase z axis by 0.4 mm. Should i increase more than 0.4 mm? or my z calibration is not good enough so this problem occured. What is the reason?

By the way when nozzle starts printing, it doesnt touch material. But when it goes up it starts to touch the material.

that sounds like Z isn't calibrated right, I use manual control and calibers to get it in the ball park then print something to fine tune it

Is possible the extruder my not be calibrated right as well. Make sure you measure you filament and have the right nozzle and filament measurements in the slicing software.

Thanks for replies, i calibrated extruder. I will calibrate more accurate the z axis and try again one more time.
