Quantity extruded issue

Hi !
I have a polar printer (Kossel) and I've recently add a gear system to improve the torque of the extruder (ratio : 11-39). It seems that I just had to change the E parameter in the Marlin (#define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {80, 80, 80, 555,59} ) but when I asked to extrude 100 mm of PLA it gave me 32mm instead.
I decided to change the E parameter but it always extrude 32 mm of PLA (whatever the E value is in the Marlin).
What could go wrong ?

Check your EEPROM settings.
If enabled they would superseed your compiled settings.
