Hello!

I am trying to print the following:

however the end product is:

Problems appear to be (need your help to identify cause):
1: the inner circle is missing 2 out of its 4 circles.
---- Out of the 4 inner circles drawn the two most outer circles are printed first which are the ones missing. I think extrusion doesnt start quick enough, although PLA is observed leaking as the extruder is heating up(I quickly remove these as otherwise the print becomes a big blob).

2: there is visible stringing in the picture. Why does this happen?

3: When filling in between the inner and outer circles, there are some of the "Top" and "bottom" plastic missing.

4: circles are not straight

5: its as if the plastic is shrinking???

Current stats:
* Extruder step have been calibration.
* 0.3 Nozzle, with a 0.3 layer height/
* PLA with 90degress bed temperature and 205degress extruder temperature
* let me know if you need any other information, i will post.

I would start by decreasing the extrusion width and layer heights to 0.2-0.25 since you're using a 0.3mm nozzle.

Exactly what MindRealm says, and calibrate the nozzle distance to the bed. It is not pushing down the filament enough!

It looks like its getting worse the smaller it gets.

I did not touch extrusion width because I dont understand the current settings, so would like to just verify it quickly.

Default extrusion width is 0 (which is auto, which translate to what value exactly?)
First layer: 200%
Perimeters: 0 (I dont know what this setting is refering to or what 0 translates to)
Infill: 0
Solid infill: 0
Top solid infill: 0
Support material: 0

So when you say change it to 0.2 you are refering to Default extrusion width right? Also since all these tests are being done on First layer, shall I change the first layer setting to 100%?

A question for Ohmarinus:
My nozzle is at the point of causing as much friction as possible before a paper does not go in between the nozzle and the mirror, and anymore down adjustment causes the nozzle to press down the suspension. Am I supposed to calibrate it so that the First layer height has the paper causing friction between the nozzle and the mirror? and the actual 0 layer height is causing the nozzle to press against the mirror and pressing down the bed suspensions?

I would also like to add that the extrusion multiplier is 1.4

May be a slicing problem too. It looks line the circle in one of your images is resulting in a hexagon... I see that the path preview shows circles in every case, but the printer is not simplifying the path - it only follows the G-Code. Please attache one of your G-code files (preferably the one with the hexagon result) and let someone else give it a whirl... may be insightful smiling smiley

Have you calibrated the amount of extruded filament? ( steps/mm ). since you use extrusion multiplier 1,4.

Either your belt is slipping or your gear attached to the motor is slipping.
My money is on a slipping gear. Make sure if you have a flat spot on the stepper motor shaft, your set screw is aligned to it and tightened down.
