Bridging conditions
November 08, 2014 11:38AM
I have been doing the Bridge torture test, and I still get a lot of issues. I've read about a whole bunch of things to look at but is there a specific guide or criteria on the slicer settings that I should take a speacial look at? I am using a prusa I2

Thanks!

I dont know what exact test you are doing, but from my experience the two most important factors are the nozzle shape and the calibration of the extruded material amount.
Very pointy nozzles with precise openings work best for me

Which are your issues?

Guidelines?
1 speed do it fast (bridge portion) set it to 120~130% of print speed.
2 fan on 100% PLA.
3 temperarure, print hot, like for PLA in the 210~220 range ABS between 240 and 250. (No fan here)
4 increase you extrusion multiplier or your extrusion width just a little.
