Printer connects in Repetier, but won't respond to commands

Hello Reprap Community,
I have a Prusa Mendel I2 from nwreprap.com and I was trying to connect it to Repetier-Host for the first time. I power on the printer, plug in the usb cable, and then push the connect button in Repetier-Host. Repetier connects the printer and the manual control buttons become active. However, when I try to control the printer manually, nothing happens. A "Commands Waiting" message appears in Repetier. Furthermore, the heaters are all at default temperatures, and obviously not reading. My baud rate is at 250000, and I have tried Pronterface with similar results. Thanks, icecats

I had a quick read through of the site and it looks very much like they haven't loaded firmware onto your RAMPS board. If you haven't either, this is why the printer's not doing anything. Take a look at their software page.
