Printrboard and thermalcouples

So I bought what I thought to be a serious upgrade to the extruder to my printer... I button the thing up and start to update firmware... Now to find out what temp sensor I have. It's a thermalcouple. Well I find 1 options, I have a K type, or so the ebay post says. I have looked but I cannot find anywhere that it says I can put a thermalcouple on a printrboard. Am I correct in the assumption that Printrboard does not support thermalcouples? How do I get my snazzy new extruder to do what I paid for?

Sorry to say that your printrbot board isn't thermocouple ready. You need to buy a signal amplifier and use available pins in the board to connect it, you will also need to modify the firmware to read the temperature from that pin.
There is substantial information on how to set it with ramps, you will just have to find the same pins of the ramps in your printrbot board.
