Small gaps in outer layers

Hi Everyone,

First off the site has been more than valuable at getting me up and running with my prusa. Thanks for all your knowledge smiling smiley

I spent alot of time calibrating my printer before doing any prints and that has paid off a ton. I am having an issue that I cant seem to find a post so here it goes...

I am having very smal gaps in my outer print layers. Not seperating but almost like the print head is going too fast and the plastic is getting stretched. Here is my config and printer setup:

Prusa i2
J-head MKIV-B hot end .5mm
Wades
Heated bed
40mm fan on hot end
Ramps 1.4
Sprinter firmware
Slic3r 0.9.9

Attached are pictures of the spaces. There is also a picture of the thin wall calibration test. I dont see the issue with it and I have no idea why. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

You say your Nozzle is .5mm but your Slic3r settings is set to:

nozzle_diameter = 0.4
