I just built my first 3d Printer with a kit from MakeMendel.com. Makerbot 3.0
However, I made the mistake of letting the wire from my Thermistor get caught on the plate and it broke the sensor. I used the replacement that was provided with the kit, but now the Pronterface software only detects the temperature up to a maximum of 145degress regardless of what setting I choose. I've tested the tip and it is getting much hotter but the sensor or software isn't getting the correct reading. I'm wondering if I need to do some kind of calibration or change some setting after changing the sensor?
