My School has an older Dimension 3d printer. The prints from it have an easily breakaway support material. I've seen sites to buy the material, and it's probably on ebay too. Has anyone tried buying some of the material and testing it's extrude-ability on a reprap type machine. I understand dual extruding is still very experimental, but supposing there is proper .stls and support structure generation it should work right? The dimension isn't doing anything different than it does with the normal ABS, except maybe different temperature and flow rate.
Thoughts?
