Tips for increasing print quality
April 01, 2012 11:48PM
I've just finished (for the most part) my Makergear mendel prusa, and I've printed out a few objects. I'm trying to get it to look a bit better, and I've attached a picture of an example print. Any tips? Is this due to software or hardware? I realize there is some globbing (due to pausing and resuming), and the bottom is ripped up but that's due to me pulling it off a bit hard.

I don't see any hardware issues in there, just a lot of settings that need to be figured out. Have you seen Prusa's calculators? I've never used it, but it looks like the sort of thing I wished for when I was starting out.
