Arduino turns off when connected to RAMPS 1.4

I just got a new RAMPS 1.4 board to replace my burned one and I've already encountered an issue, the ramps make my arduino turn off when it is plugged in. The arduino works fine if i disconnect the ramps but right when i connect it the arduino shuts off, does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

remove everything you can from the ramps, and try again (no endstops, stepper drivers, or power)

Does it still do it?

If it does still fail you you have a dead ramps. There has been a rash of these that have shorts on the pcb tracks

It works without anything plugged in so i'll add parts one by one until i find which one is bad

seems a couple of my drivers are setting it off, probably because i bought them cheap. Do you know where i can buy some decent drivers?
