Can a 12V endstop be use on the RAMPs

Hello,
I want to use the RAMPs to hack an apparatus. My problem is that they use 12V endstop. I can supply 12V to the sensors but I am afraid I cannot use the signal from the sensor to the ramps as it will be 12V instead of the 5V of the classic endstops.
Am I right ?

Solved, I went to see the electronic workshop of my institut and they gave us resistance to lower the voltage to 5V. We can now control on the device.
