can i supply 12v/25 amp for extruder hotend and 5v/45 amp for ramp power and stepper supply....or do i need more current

Extruder and steppers run on 12V. No need to supply 5V to Ramps, except you want to run 5V servos or graphic LCD. Then you have to remove "D1" on the Ramps board, too.

i am not using any lcd or servos right now....thanks for the help..and is 12 powering my Arduino or should i get separate power supply

The stepper motors needs 12v (even if they are 5v steppers) , so you need to supply 12v to the 12v 5amp plug, if you want a heated bed then you provide 12v to the 12v 11amp plugs

The mega also gets power 12v from the 12v 5amp plug as the steppers. You do not put anything in the DC jack.

Your 25 amp power supply should be fine.

You only need 16amps, current is pulled from the supply, so more current is fine It will only take what it needs.
