Power Supply

Hi all
Building a corexy and using 2 203w xbox 360 power brick's to power it.
I know about connecting the blue wire to PS_ON and the red wire to VCC but what I want to know is, can I connect both brick's to the same pins? or am I better off just connecting the brick that controls the main electronics/extruder? and maybe putting the hbp supply on a switch?

It should work, when you have a solid GND connection between all the components. Don't daisy chain the GND wires, but specify one point and wire from there ( star configuration )

Thanks for the reply
When you say solid GND connections between all components, do you mean ALL - (GND) from both bricks, -(GND) on hbp, -(GND) hot end, -(GND) Arduino/ramps, -(GND) hot end cooling fan, -(GND) ramps cooling fans all to a single point?

The cooling fan or hotend heater are not critical, but all components, that draw or deliver huge amps should meet at one point

Ok tried that and it dident work so I used a relay for the hbp power brick coming from the 12v output and works a treet
