My Ultimachine RAMPS 1.4 has a four-pin connector that looks like it would fit a Molex cable; is this a legit way to power the board? Just want to make sure before I plug something in that's likely to make the magic smoke escape.
I don't think that'll take a molex connector but just in case it does - don't.
You need to connect 12V to both pairs of pins on that connector. 12V is on yellow, 0V is on black. Connect multiple wires to each terminal, especially on the 11A side since that one draws more than a single wire is rated for.
