I was playing with the printer at a friend's house. He has a bunch of lathes and woodworking equipment. He wants to make a CNC using one of his big machines. He's pretty handy to say the least and he saw the problems I was having with my Bowden cable and said that he had some harder tubing in his shop. I tried it and it worked great.

It is called HDPE (High Density Polyethylene Tubing). The specific one that my friend gave me was from USPlastic.com at the following link:

...he says you can get it in 100 ft rolls for under 10 bucks. Let me know how this works for you.
