Now first introducing RepStrap machine in Korea.
We named it as "Newton".
Thanks to Mr. Brett Fleming who provided Issac CNC parts and initial supports.
Since we used Issac parts and modified little bit in mechanics and electronics, thus Newton was born.
Basically all electronics used are GEN3, with Makerbot MK5 extuder.
The size of the Newton is biger than Mendel and Issac. Side frames studs are 480mm each.
Instead of CNC machined mechanical parts like Issac, we printed with Extruded ABS plastic from the first Issac Mendel machine.
The quality of the out put looks fine.
It took 2 months to tune up to this level of qality.
I must say it is not easy machine as describe.
Building the machine only took a couple days but make the 3d object look good takes a lot of experiments.
Speed, temperature, feed rate, different design model by model, time, hudreds of different combination of software settings......
However, we say it is smothly working now.
Now we locally produce Gen3 electronics boards, Printing ABS parts and stud and bars, 3mm White ABS filments locally available.
We are testing locally produced PLA, PGA, PLGA filaments for reprap 3d machine and medical usage.
