Ok, I had this idea a little while ago, sketched it out and it basically was a rack and pinion system I made to replace the belt system used for X and Y axis's. If this system were to work, it would be one less part you'd need to buy for a reprap, it might offer some advantages, I've always had problems with pulleys catching, or belts being too loose, too tight, or slipping. This might even give people the ability to scale up repraps larger, I just need some help making the motormounts and stuff.
