There’s a second new contest at Patexia in medical devices that I thought could be of interest to this community. The contest is looking at a patent for suture inserter technology, the objective is to find and submit references that prove the technology was not original at the time is was patented (and so the patent is invalid).
If you’re familiar with the technology, or interested in developing your patent search skills, the winner is going to receive $3000 for submitting the best entry.
We’re also offering a $500 prize for referring the winner through our site, so feel free to invite your colleagues instead if you know the right person.
