New here! Looking for tips on where to source for cheap RepRap parts for my first RepRap

As what the title says. I'm someone with no prior technical experience but am very interested in just trying to build my first 3d printer. Anyone here got tips on how I can get started. Especially where sourcing for materials to build is concerned. I would like to not spend above SGD500, as I'm just entering the workforce and do not have much extra savings, so any tips or lobang you guys can share would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: So far I've been able to find this list of kits, but I'm not sure which one to go for? Any tips? [reprappro.com]

Do you guys over here meet up to build? Would love to find like-minded people to hang out with.

Your best bet is to hook up with the guys who have a facebook group

im sure they can give you plenty of advice as to what and where to buy

just look for Soon Wei on this forum and contact him
