I have no news. Darren is still missing. Last week I received an email from "Adviceguide" (one of the places Gruff suggested to fill in a form). In my case, as I do not live in the UK I have to fill in another complaint form in a Spanish office. This week I will do it.

I am also about to start a small claim: [www.direct.gov.uk] , but during the following weeks I will be very busy.

I received an email yesterday from Darren with 2 words: "shipping today".
It could be true.. The bad thing is that i don't need those belts anymore since i ordered the from grrf and received them 5 days after the order. I'll keep them as backup IF it's true.

It is unbelievable, 4 months ago I placed my order... still nothing. I do not have my money back

No.. After that 2 words mail at May 1st nothing more.. I replyed asking for a tracking number instad of promises and he went back in his hiding.

I've also tried contacting him, again.. and again. Nothing, no answer, no updates of his activity anywhere. Just a page on his site saying he is not accepting any more orders until he's done with the current ones.
What eludes me is why he's acting like this? He obviously has almost all the hardware, why not just be honest, send what he has and perhaps nobody would have minded if he missed some plastic bits or some belts.
Anyway, some people worked hard for that money!

Yes Techman, I fully agree with you. When I contacted Darren by IRC three or four weeks ago, I did want to blame him, but just to find a solution. I even offered him the possibility of sending extra money for the shipment (one of his excuses was he did not have money for shipping). I also told him that I was open to make a deal, like changing some missing part for other. He told that everything was ok and that he would ship my orden in 2 days.... I am still waiting... and since then he has never got in contact again.

Why is he acting like this???

So, it is time to organize ourselves for taking legal actions. The first thing we have to do is creating a list of affected people. It would be great if there is anyone in the UK.

Hi!

Still no news. During these weeks I have been very busy. I have to admit that fighting against Darren is very time-consuming. But, he won't get rid of us until he refunds the Stolen money, that's for sure.

I just want all the people to know that after 6 six, Darren still has not refunded my money. Of course, I am not the only one. There are more affected people by this thief. He does NOT respond our emails. But we won't stop fighting until Darren listen to us.

I too am having problems with him. I ordered the Prusa kit back in January and still haven't received anything yet. It seems he is ignoring my emails now as well. Has anyone got a home address for him? This will be needed to file a claim in the courts.

Thanks to Philip Tyerman (ptyerman) we now have more information about Daren. Philip is from the UK, so it will be now easier for us to take legal actions.

After more than one year, we still do not have our money back. What is funny is that the redwizard shop is online again.

We know that the police has contacted Darren, but he is completely missing... If anyone have news about him, please let us know.
