Geeetech Rostock 301 first topic

Hi isralgs.
Did you finally achieve a correct print ?
With th adjusted vrefs, do your steppers still miss steps ?
Did you verify there is no overtension on your belts ?

I strongly suspect the temperature sensor of being not very accurate, because i own another printer, and for pla, 195° is enough for printing.
I tried different setting, and the best were with 225°.
Of course, use Cura, that is way better slicer.

The issue of temperature there is something that catches my attention, apart from your observations in your message, and it is this:
Yesterday I updated the firmware of the printer (1.0.02 to 1.0.03) from the easyprint program (although I do not use it at all) and I see that the nozzle did not exceed 220 degrees.
Then send a comment to GEEETECH about this problem and re-download it to version 1.0.02. The problem was resolved. I put it here for everyone NOT updating, as they will not be able to climb 220 degrees on the nozzle.
Apart from this it is possible that this is not well regulated in the firmware as comments, but I do not have an infrared thermometer to be able to measure, I will try to make one with arduino to see that such.
I am indeed from Spain. I am trying to help RENE, and if it were not for this kind of forums, I would be totally lost.
I will try with a Cura to see how it goes

Je n'ai toujours pas d'impression 3D correcte !

Il y a toujours des sauts de pas des moteurs des extrudeurs, même avec le voltage des pilotes à leur maximum.

Je vais en désespoir de cause remplacer la tête chauffante à trois filaments des têtes à mono filament, mais pas de la marque Geeetech, car cette entreprise me dégoute !

Comme le support de la tête chauffante n'est pas standard, il me faudra fabriquer un nouveau support de tête chauffante et ajuster les paramètres du micrologiciel pour tenir compte de la nouvelle tête.

J'ai donc deux têtes diamant à trois filaments avec leur support et ventilateur à vendre, si vous êtes intéressé !

Je prépare mon déménagement (je change de ville) pour dans un mois et après je m'achète une autre imprimante avec une bonne réputation pour fabriquer mes pièces de remplacement sur mes deux Rostock 301 et les amputer de deux extrudeurs pour fabriquer ce qui deviendra ma 4e imprimante 3D, mais a c'est pour dans 3 ou 4 mois.

I was thinking about other stepper drivers to. Maybe the tb6560 can solve the problem of skipping steps. I am trying to print with abs but when i let the filament go,
i am missing lots of steps and there is coming some filament out of the diamond head. en+ = enable, cw+ = dir, clk+ = step and en-,cw-, clk- is gnd.

Just started on the build. 1st I know there are issues with this printer.
Do any off you have a pic or model number off the extruder motors? Mine are 42HSC8402-15B11
Looking to see if they have upgraded them since the 1st release?
I haven't finished the build as the M3 x 8mm arn't M3, of to local store tommorow to collect the correct ones

I have striped the Dimond hotend and one off the inlets is blocked (carnt sort that out till I get home in 3 weeks)
Going to order the magnetic balls and arms this week, hopfully they will be home when I get home.

Then launched it and connected my 301.
Full of hope, i noticed that a firmware upgrade was present for my 301 (i use 1.0.0.2, 1.0.0.3 is disponible)
I upgraded and........
Tada !!!!

My printer does not want anymore to accept negative coordinates....
I had to downgrade to V 1.0.0.2 to be able to get it to print correctly, with negative coordinaates.
I had to follow the original steps.

Now my 301 is back to life...

Do not upgrade your 301 Firmware with it.

Trying to set up my machine. Homes ok but when going to the bed it gets down to 10 but instead of going 9,8,7 etc it goes 10,19,28,37 etc
There is still 2mm left to go but it I go any more it crashes into the bed. Diagnal rods are set to 200 but are 197, I take it I need to alter this in the firmware.
Can some one please tell me what else I need to change? Please bear in mind this is my 1st delta style printer

Do you use repetier host ?

No I used move axis in the menu. Homed 1st then moved to the build plate. Count down from 288 but when it gets to 10 it goes 19 instead of 9 28 instead of 8 37 instead of 8 and so on until it gets to 73 which is 3 but if I move it any move it hits the bed

Hey, everybody, it's been a long time since I've been here.
I've been making some adjustments to my rostock 301 and now I can print beautifully (Incredible, but true).
I wanted to ask if it is possible to configure this printer with the Cura software, (I really don't remember if I asked this question twice) or we have to be satisfied with Repetier and Curaengine.
