Cura 2.1 not for deltas?

I downloaded new Cura V2.1 and was surprised to see there is no longer support for deltas. confused smiley
Or is there a delta hiding behind one of the ( unknown to me ) other machines?
Also editing the start/end code is hidden somewhere.

Anyone here, who made it work with a round bed with X0,Y0 in the center?

Short answer is no. Long answer is no unless you want to hack the program.

The minimum requirement to support a delta is the center of the bed is 0,0. I could live with a square bed, but allowing negative coords is a must.
Also the start/endcode would be different, but I haven't searched the whole preferences section yet. Is there a menu where you could alter the code?

You sure there's not a "custom" machine setting where you can check "Bed center is 0,0,0"?

What other machine would benefit from center = 0,0 than a delta?
The other machines are mostly prusa i3 style or unknown to me.
I was hoping someone else has more insight than me.

I use cura 2.1 with my delta. No problem. Make you platform and and machine file. And put in corresponding folders.

There is nothing specific in it. All I did is set center at 0.0 and made a circle stl
Program Files\Cura2.1\resources\machines\yourprinter.json
Program Files\Cura2.1\resources\meshes\yourbed.stl

I do not use 2.1 now because of absence of saving profile in gcode and nonworking support structure.
