Mini Kossel keeps printing mirrored x axis images.

I keep printing a key chain with a word on it and its mirrored on the x axis. I tried to look up solutions from other posts and kept ending up wrong. I do not know what next step to take! All advice is helpful.

Check your motors are set to the correct drivers the Rear tower is Z the front right Should be X and the front right Should be Y.

I suspect you have the X and Y crossed (Make sure you check the endstops as well)

How do I know which side is front and back and so forth if its a triangle? Like all 3 sides are the same?

You don't really need to find which tower is connected to the Z Driver on your Board and set that as the back then have the opposite side will be the X and Y towers if you look down on it from above the motor sequense (Towers) goes X - Y - Z in an anti Clockwise direction?

Where and how do I set the z as the back?

1. Decide which face of the triangular frame you want to be the front of your printer.

2. Then one of the towers will be at the back. Wire the motor and endstop switch for that tower to the Z motor and endstop pins on your electronics. The tower at the front left will be X (so wire the motor and endstop switch to the X motor and X endstop connectors), and the front right tower will be Y.

Okay I have done that. What is the next step?

I have the Z in the back and so forth. I then tested the end stops status and when I triggered certain end stops, they all triggered correctly.

check you dont have the mirror xy axis option checked in your slicer

I attached a picture of my settings. It prints mirrored while the "flip x and y" is checked. Then I un-click it and it still prints wrong. I cannot find a option that you said where you can mirror a certain axis? I am using repetier with cura slicing software.

when you flip both x and Y then you will still l get a mirrored part, all you have done is a 180 degree rotation, because a mirror image of a mirror image is just the original image.

jut flip 1 axis and see what you get

I agree with Doug, but have edited the quote for clarity.

The easiest way to tell if your motors are correct is to do a joy in +X and +Y

When you do a jog +X the effector should move from left to right, when you do a +Y jog the axis moves towards the rear

If it doesn't move in the correct direction then correct your machines wiring, if it does then correct your slicer settings
