Which linear rod delta printer

Good day all
Have some experience in a Prusa I3, but want to venture into building a delta.
I want to use linear smooth rods, gt2 belts, round heating bed etc - size does not really matter.
The richrap 3dr are a nice build, but seems like I would have to do some modification to use gt2 belts as his build uses spectra fishing line.
Any suggestions or links of a nice build?
Thanks

...except that the Cherry Pi doesn't use linear smooth rods. sad smiley That design constraint would leave either the Rostock or 3DR (2012 designs) as the OP's only choices. Ironically, there was someone on the Google Deltabot group yesterday complaining that the 3DR had too much frame flex for his liking.

Delta designs moved on from using rods for linear motion to either rails/tracks (Kossel) and now wheels riding directly on the extrusions (many including Cherry Pi). Frame flex is also reported to be an issue on the Kossel with 1515 extrusions. The Cherry Pi uses bigger 2020 extrusions, as do some Kossel variants.

If you want to drop the requirement for linear smooth rods, the Cherry Pi is the most progressive Delta design/features at the moment and would be my recommendation as well.....
