Reprap Rostock with Repetier Firmware - what relative position is the xmin, ymin, zmin endstops?

Posted by DennyP
Hello Fellow Reprapers,

I've built a Reprap Rostock and I'd like to try out the Repetier firmware that can be pre-configured using this nifty tool:

I've got three mechanical endstops that are placed physically on the top plastic parts.
This form suggests that these endstops should be defined as xmin, ymin and zmin: would this be correct geometrically?

Therefore x, y, z increases as the diagonal rods transverses downwards for each respective tower.

Sorry for the noobish question, information overload I has.

Cheers!
Deltas always work the opposite to the way you describe. The endstops need to be connected to Xmax, Ymax and Zmax. When the tower carriages are touching the endstops they are at the maximum Z height of your printer. When the nozzle touches the bed it's at Z zero.
Ahh Cheers Andy, It works!
