Hello,
I project to build a delta printer and I discover all about this.
I am trying to set electronics (Arduino Mega 2560, ramps 1.4, Full Graphic Smart Controller) without connection to the printer.
After loading sofware the display light on but nothing appears.
In config.h I choose mother board 33, uncomment #define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER and install U8glib to my ARDUINO library folder.
Is this normal ?
Or what kind of mistake I do ?

Try swapping the ribbon cables around. there have been quite a few instances of the ports being incorrectly labelled

Hello,
and if the LCD display blink and buzz (If you turn the encoder stop all and make a printer kill) ??
If I try to swap the cable the display is on but nothing on the screen ...
Have you any idea ?

(I use rambo board with adaptator...)

I had the same problem with flashing and beeping.
I discovered that the fix was to update my Arduino to v1.05 from v0.23.
I just installed v1.05 and re-flashed my firmware.

Just as a side note, I went back to my old display when I realised that the full graphics one was causing momentary stuttering which showed up as small blobs on my prints

I use a ramps setup.

Ok i have tested with the last arduino 1.0.5 but nothing more ... It's the same ...
So for you when the display flash and buzz it's the right position of the cable ?
You haven't twist them ?

you added it to your library but did you also add it to your merlin code.

Can you give more details where you add in Marlin and the code to use ?

Open arduino, Select sketch->Import Library...->Add Library..., and choose u8g folder

Hi,

I want to use MARLIN_FIRMWARE_for_3DR_V2 but full graphic smart controller does not exist in config.h. How can I declare it ?
