Hi guys,
I have started with a new delta printer in the Fablab in Munich. It is 1,4m high and has a diameter of 65cm.
The goals for this project are:
- All parts should be producible with the resources of a common Fablab, (laser cutter, 3D printer, small lathe)
- Design as easy as possible
- No tinkered electronics/parts
Let´s get started!
The frame:
I use a 40x40mm aluminium profiles. Three C-shaped elements are held together by wooden lasered plates.
The belt tensioner:
I have seen so many 3Dprinters with belts and no chance to adjust the tenison - not here:
The Effector:
I use a 3-sphere-effector:
Hotend&Extruder
E3Dv5 (3mm) + Bowden + Airtripper
Pardon for my English..

The controller:
I use a RaspberryPi with (
Octoprint) installed on it, to access my printer. With
Yaler, I am able to securly access it over the internet.
