I notice that the extrusion used in the Prusa i3 MK3 has 4 screw points at each corners vs the 1 central screw most extrusion has

Anyone seen any extrusion like that out in the wild?

Or are they doing something else? tapping into the diagonal internal ali... may be possible, seems unlikely

In case you have been living under a rock and haven see it. [youtu.be]

The end of a typical 2020 tslot, looks like

One central hole that is often used for attaching things. (not a good idea.. but that's another story)

The MK3 is clearly using 4 screws at the ends...

how? I presume there is a profile with 4 holes....

Yea I know, I never ask easy questions tongue sticking out smiley

or maybe its just 3030 not 2020, and they tap those square holes...

Or it's just CAD gone MAD, is there a real product pic?
Seems a waste to have the profile there/split it and not really use it.
A step further and ditch the plate and use more extrusion.

But if you are in America Misumi is the greatest thing to ever happen to anyone ever. Literally can order extrusions of any size, color, slot, etc. and cut down to half a millimeter.

And the only one doing black [www.ebay.co.uk]#
