2525 frame instead of 2020

There are a lot of plans and kits for 3d printers using 2020 extruded aluminum, but I am having a hard time finding any plans using the slightly larger 2525 aluminum. I was recently given quite a bit of 2525, and I would like to use it in my next 3d printer build. Are there any repraps based on a 2525 frame?

Hi,

25x25 profiles are not common. Usualy profiles jumps directly to 30 or 40 module. Even compatible hardware can be hard to find. What's the slot size ?
I can't remember any build whith 2525 profiles, sorry.
You will probably need to adapt parts to your profile size.
So you should consider designs with minimum plastic parts connected to the profiles, to minimize the changes to be made.

You know how 3D printers work. You move the extruder in X, Y , and Z axes. The extruder melts and squirts out plastic. There are a thousand ways to build a machine that does that.
Do you have to have someone else's exact design and BOM to follow? Can't a 20 mm design be adapted to 25 mm? Are you not called "engineer137"?

My delta design uses 1" extrusions (25.4mm)
Search thingiverse for BazBot. It is a work in progress in which I will be uploading the newer completed printed pieces and info shortly.
