Hi,
I'm trying to source an MendelMax2.0, but I still have not the laser cut parts.
I thought about cutting them by my self out of wood, but I can't find the exact dimensions of those PARTS.
Is there anybody who has a MendelMax2.0 and/or could provide the demension?

Hello sarazhang,
No, what I need is something like this: Dimensions

derfailer, sarazhang didn't even reply with a relevant comment. His only purpose here is to advertise his web store. Next time I recommend you report such spam, as I just did.

Those parts are lasercut, and a laser cutter has no use for dimensions, since the input DXF file is exported directly into G-code which is what the laser cutter reads.

If you need dimensions, then your only choice is to get the DXF file containing the parts, and add dimensions yourself. There are plenty of free CAD tools that will allow that.

My personal suggestions would be LibreCAD if you prefer open source software, and DraftSight if you don't mind commercial/free for personal use software. Both are available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

A bit late to the party, but another option if you're hand cutting the parts is to just print the DXF's off in a 1:1 scale. You can then glue the printed pasterns to the material to be cut/drilled.
Most cad software will be able to print a dxf.

In case you have not found anything yet,
I just bought a prusa i3 from these guys here:

and I can recommend the prusa i3 master kit.
I hope the same quality is in their other parts.
So you might want to save yourself the hassle and just go for the 70€ parts kit and start building your printer ;-)

Where you from?
Germany?

Alex
